Panagiota Chaliazi | Antigoni Mantsiou |
Antigoni Mantsiou and Panagiota Chaliazi both graduated from the School of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2002 and Master of Landscape Architecture of A.U.Th. in 2005. Having an experience of 15 years, they now practice on design and construction of buildings and open spaces, both public and private, of each scale.
Antigoni Mantsiou
Antigoni Mantsiou was born in 1978 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She graduated from 2nd High School of Kalamaria in 1996.
In 1997 she joined the School of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, of which she graduated in 2002 with honors (88/100).
In 2004 she was awarded by the Technical Chamber of Greece as the highest degree student of Faculty of Engineering of A.U.Th., for the Academic Year 2001-2002. In the same year she joined the “Landscape Architecture” Seminar of the European Union “Leonardo da Vinci” in Escola Tecnica Superior d’ Arquitectura de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain.
In 2005 she graduated from the Master of Landscape Architecture Program, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, also with honors (89/100).
Between the years 2002 and 2010 she was employed as Permanent Scientific Collaborator of Christos Kouloukouris & Associates and METE SYSM Architects and Consulting Engineers S.A. Through these collaborations she acquired deep experience in large scale projects as public administration, health, educational, cultural, commercial, recreational and residential buildings and public spaces. Antigoni Mantsiou is a chartered Architect,registered in the Official List of the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works in the categories of Architectural Design of Buildings and Specialised Architectural Design.
Together with Panayiota Chaliazi, she founded in 2005 OpsisArchitects, with offices in Thessaloniki, Greece.
During her studies, he has been General Secretary and representative of Association of Students of Architecture, A.U.Th. She is now a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Association of Architects of Thessaloniki and since 2008 an Elected Member of the Pan Hellenic Association of Architects Board.
She has a Diploma in English and German Language and is a member of the International Dance Teachers’ Association.
Panagiota Chaliazi
Panagiota Chaliazi was born in 1977 in Thessaloniki, Greece. By the time she graduated from the German School of Thessaloniki, in 1995, she had already developed a clear leaning in fine arts and crafts.
She graduated from the School of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honours (91/100) and later on from the Master of Landscape Architecture Program, A.U.Th., also with honors (91/100) and with the distinction of the highest degree.
Until 2005, when she founded together with partner Antigoni Mantsiou OpsisArchitects, she collaborated with a number of famous architectural practises, landscape architects and private engineers, as a freelancer. She provided design services for various private and public projects throughout the country and participated in many architectural competitions.
Further scientific activities include participations in educational programs, research groups, conferences and exhibitions.
Today she is a chartered Architect,registered in the Official List of the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works in the categories of Architectural Design of Buildings and Specialised Architectural Design and an active member of many professional associations.
She speaks English and German fluently and practises martial arts and mountain trekking.
